NJP6510 and 650 comparison
I wanted a snap case so I bought the NJP76510. Already had the original NJP650 in the household. There are differences in the handles. The original feels more comfortable to me as the newer has more of a square feel and is about 5/8” longer. Blades are identical.Removing and inserting the tool into the plastic case requires a little practice. There are instructions printed on the case. If you want a case that is harder to extract the tool than this may be a better option. I posted pictures and a video. If you are trying to decide which of the two to buy you should watch the video. My daughter owns and has used the original for sometime. I asked her to feel the new version and she said it felt fine. The squareness didn’t bother her. She like that the knife secures in the case as an extra safety measure around curious hands.
