One of the standout features of this floor pump is its sturdy construction. The build quality is exceptional, with a durable steel barrel and base that can withstand regular use and provide stability during inflation. The ergonomic handle offers a comfortable grip, making pumping a breeze, even during longer inflation sessions.
The high-pressure capabilities of the Joe Blow Sport III are impressive. It effortlessly reaches and maintains high tire pressures required for road biking, allowing me to achieve optimal performance and ride with confidence. The large pressure gauge is easy to read, ensuring accurate inflation and preventing over or under inflation.
The TwinHead DX pump head is a notable feature of the Joe Blow Sport III. It is compatible with both Presta and Schrader valves, eliminating the need for additional adapters. The secure connection ensures a tight seal, preventing any air leakage during inflation. Switching between valve types is quick and simple, allowing for seamless tire inflation.
An aspect that sets the Joe Blow Sport III apart is its innovative SmartHead technology. It automatically adjusts to fit both valve types without any manual adjustments required. This user-friendly feature saves time and eliminates the frustration of dealing with different valve connections.
The extra-long hose provided with the pump is a practical addition. It allows for convenient positioning of the pump while inflating tires, reducing strain on the valve stem and ensuring easy access to the tire, even when the bike is on a stand.
In addition, the gauge is very easy to read and the construction feels solid and well bit. I hope to use this pump for many years to come!

This pump feels solidly built, and I expect to get years of use out of it. The base is wide and easy to keep stable with my feet while pumping, and I can fill the tires on my 700 x 23 bicycle tires to 115 psi fairly quickly and without much effort. The gauge is low enough that it (hopefully) will not sustain any damage if the pump falls over, and even my aging eyes can see the graduations well enough to approximate the pressure (and there is a movable yellow marker that you can set to your desired pressure beforehand, which is even easier to see). I read in one review that the gauge may be off by several psi, but I don't know if any of my other gauges are more accurate to be able to do a comparison. Although I'll probably never use the included ball and bladder adapters, it's nice that they're included and that there is a place to store them.
Three things would bump up the rating to five stars from me:
1) A longer hose. It is just a bit of a stretch to easily reach the wheels of my bike when it is supported by my bike stand (which, admittedly, holds the bike higher than most other bike stands).
2) A flip up locking lever on the head. The locking lever on my old dual head pump flips up and away from the head, making it easy to operate with my thumb as my fingers of the same hand hold the head on the valve stem. The locking lever on this pump pivots about 90 degrees away from the valve stem on a parallel plane, meaning it's easiest for me to use both hands - instead of only one - so I can work the lever between the spokes.
3) A lower price. I paid about $50 for this on Amazon, $5 off the normal price. I have no problem paying more for American-made quality, but in my opinion this pump is a little overpriced for an import.
Overall, I'm satisfied with this Topeak. If I needed another pump tomorrow I would absolutely consider buying this again, but I also might look at some options first. Maybe a pump with only a Presta valve only head, since that's all I really need.
Realized they were only about 50-60 psi; wanted them closer to 80-90psi.
Have a 'good' bike pump, maybe is was $20. Works great up to that point, even though the gauge will read higher and it says it can go up to 100psi, good luck not breaking your back getting to that point.
Enter new $50 bike pump. Hooks up without bleed, 4-5 smooth, CRIMINALLY smooth pumps and we're at 95 psi. This thing will pop your tires with ease and I love the power.

Plus I have been using Schrader-to-Presta screw on adapters and these are, to be frank, a pain in the rear end to use. They leak and are just unreliable and a nuisance. This pump has a reversible Presta/Schrader attachment that actually works.
This pump works like a dream. It's very easy for me to attach the nozzle to either Presta on my newer tires, or Schrader (I still have some older kit). The lever flips into the hold position solidly and with no leaks. The air hose is plenty long to reach the nozzle no matter where it's rotated to.
The pressure indicator responds continuously while I'm pumping. It's easy to read so I know what pressure I've reached, and it points at the dial markings without wavering. I really appreciate the little sliding diamond set-point marker so I can quickly see when I've reached the desired pressure.
I am so very glad that I finally overcame my inertia and sprung for this pump. It's made a huge improvement to my enjoyment of the bicycle maintenance task of installing and repairing wheel tires and tubes.
test use on new tubeless tyre installation, pump air pressure from 0 psi to 90 psi easily.
need to turn the lever to the right direction to avoid air leak.
